The good side of Expectation

Whenever we hear the word expectation, we tend to look at it with eyes of negativity knowing that expectations are not good. We often hear stories about not meeting expectations and the result is obvious, “misunderstanding.” There is no conflict about this word, in fact, it has never lost its real essence, only depending on one’s perception and interpretation. Let us look at the good side of expectation. To expect means to desire something. If you desire something good from someone then you must expect. You need to expect in order to mativate him or her to do what is right. Expectation also drives someone into action and go for excellence. If I didn’t expect something from the team I am handling there will never be good result because in our acts of service,  lack of efforts will give way to procrastination to come in. And that is something we need to prevent.
