Life really has so many things to offer. Good or bad and depending on the situations and decisions we have. If we will try to examine our contemporary times, we could sense some longings of people who are so consumed with this FREE stuff. There are so many groups and tribes existing and an issue of division is taking place because of the desire to be free. Thus, self expression plays an important role. Gone are the days when people are doing just one activity. There are even some loners who’d prefer being alone because that is their own way of self expression. While I was writing this post, I was thinking of the society where I was and how being free affects the lives of each individual. Being free is abused and used in a selfish manner. I mean, we have all the right to be free. Free to do what we want and free to express ourselves, provided, we must not forget doing what is right and investing on friendship and relationship because whether we like it or not, there are still people involved in every action that we do.. Think of this.
I am not so concerned with social issues and every activities of people in my country. In fact, I am not the kind of person who always stay in front of a television listening to each individual’s cry about what’s happening to the government his beloved country has. I have so many things to do and believe me, these things are more useful than listening to debates on which there is no particular winner. If there is then the other side will charge the other of cheating. Hmmm.. I was doing some extra personal health development when I heard what happened to Haiti. Suddenly my subconscious mind was wide awakened and the devastation seemed to be a wake up call for me to give just a part of my selfish ears to the news. I was moved. There are so many things that happened recently that I do not know. I’m not trying to be updated on latest happenings but just putting my heart in the issues, thinking of something to do.
We all have the desire to be connected. I mean, we cannot live alone in this world without the help of others or what we call connections. That is why this blog appears. In this world where everyone is so consumed with digital and high tech devices, there is a threat about connections. But when social networking sites started its invasion, the hope for connections among men came into a reality. I do hope that anyone who could see this blog will remember the importance of connections.
